The Seal of Pilate (Hungarian edition)

During a trip through Italy, a young Swedish student discovers two parchment cases and sends them to his home address in Stockholm. Together with his Greek friend, he discovers scrolls written in Latin, Aramaic and Ancient Greek, each bearing a mysterious seal.

The seal is believed to belong to Pontius Pilate. The scrolls contain eyewitness accounts written by people who followed Jesus for two weeks on Pilate's orders, before Jesus travelled to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover.

The scrolls could have serious consequences for the Church. Two of them are delivered to the Vatican, and on the Pope's orders a hunt begins for the remaining scrolls. The trail leads to Stockholm, where Vatican agents and Swedish police become involved in a confrontation with an Islamist group.

An unexpected twist reveals the fate of the remaining scrolls.
