Life in Sunny Yellow

Thirty-year-old Carli works in a café in Marburg. She abandoned her architecture studies after falling into deep grief following the death of her beloved Italian grandparents. She has no idea what to do with her life: the shared apartment in Marburg does not suit her, and her job at the café is far from her dream career. The only bright spot in her life is her best friend, Fritzi.

One day everything changes. A regular customer, Fabrizio, suddenly stops coming to the café, and shortly afterwards Carli is invited to the reading of the elderly man’s will. There she learns that Fabrizio has left her an inheritance in Florence. Leaving everything behind, Carli travels to the sunny heart of Tuscany, where walking through winding streets and tasting Italian delicacies she finds herself falling in love not only with the city.
